“I would walk 500 miles…” has likely been the song going over and over in Diane’s head over the last fifty days. She took on the challenge of walking 500 miles in a mere fifty days, not just your regular walk in the park.
The first jaunt started on the 1st June 2015 and by the 25th June Diane had done a fantastic 252 miles – just over half way! Blistered feet and a few flies digested weren’t enough to deter Di, she trooped on. On the 9th July, whilst still racking up the miles, Diane had an unfortunate encounter with a couple of dogs leaving her with a nasty gash on her leg. Despite this, Di marched on determinedly and completed her challenge on the 19th July.
First Chance Nepal would like to say a HUGE thank you for Di’s hard work and determination and for all the money raised. WELL DONE!
